About

Holding Horses Hawaii is a divinely inspired creation blending Alyssa’s 35 years in the healing arts as a massage therapist with her lifelong love and close connection with horses. Her transition into this space started with a certification in Awakening With Equines, an equine partnered coaching practice. Although there are many ways to practice this work, her comfort with the client on her table blended with her attunement to the energy of the horse and the surroundings of nature, make equine partnered table sessions Alyssa’s passion.

We offer tailored one-on-one holistic horse-partnered programs for our guests. Whether you want a reintroduction to basic horsemanship and ground work, or you are brand new to horses and want to connect in a way that does not involve a nose to tail trail ride, or you have heard about equine therapy and are ready to try it, we have something for everyone. We work in a systematic way that allows the human and the horse to have a clear connection and the best experience. All of our sessions begin the same way. We talk with you about your hopes and desires, we do a meet n greet of our horses and then depending on the type of session we decide on, we partner you with the right horse. We then - breath, ground, connect, heal, and clear.
